4WD is not a gimmick.
Veehop is the only AWD scooter I've ridden that actually climbs. K-Country gravel, snow on the driveway, wet leaves on the pathway — it pulls. Folds into my Forester for trips to the trailhead.

All-terrain electric scooters and mini ATVs. 2WD and 4WD platforms built for off-road Alberta conditions.
VeeHop engineers all-terrain electric scooters with 2WD and 4WD drivetrains, fat off-road tires, and rugged steel frames. Purpose-built for trails, farms, golf courses, and Alberta backcountry.

Banff has potholes that would swallow a normal scooter. Veehop just shrugs them off. Charging twice a week to do the Bow River loop and run errands.
Real-world range is 30-35 km, not the 40 advertised — could be the cold weather. Still good enough for daily commute. eBC was honest about this when I asked.
