Cadence sensor disk for converting a 2018-2019 Surface 604 Boar Hunter or Shred from the original torque sensor system to a cadence-based system. Unlike a torque sensor that measures pedal pressure, a cadence sensor detects pedal rotation and provides assist based on whether you are pedaling, regardless of how hard you push.
Some riders prefer the more consistent assist delivery of a cadence system. This is one component of the full conversion kit — you will also need the cadence conversion controller, motor inhibitor wires, SAMOX bottom bracket, SAMOX crank set, motor wire, and front console wire harness.
