Pacer GT is a touring bike.
Did the Bow Valley Parkway end-to-end on the Pacer GT last August. 90 km without a thought, came back with 30% battery. Rides like a real road bike with a motor backup, not a heavy commuter dressed up.
XCity Neo, all season.
Eight months of commuting from Bankview to my office downtown. Through winter with studded tires from eBC. Smartmotion's NZ engineering shows in the rain-sealed wiring.
Pricey but good.
More expensive than I planned to spend, but the build quality is real. Tektro brakes, Shimano drivetrain, internal cable routing. eBC offered 0% financing in-store which made it work.
XUrban for around-town.
Step-through, upright geometry, big balloon tires. Perfect for the cracked pavement on 26 Ave. The lights are integrated and surprisingly bright on the night ride home.
Shipped to High River. Worth the wait.
5 days from Calgary to High River. Bike arrived 95% assembled, took 20 minutes with the included tools. eBC followed up after a week to make sure everything was good.
Wish the seat was wider.
Replaced the stock seat after 50 km. Bike itself is excellent — Pacer is fast, range is honest, controls intuitive. Just bring your own saddle if you're particular.
